SOLAS National Networks & Endorsed Projects update

  • SOLAS SSC member VVSS Sarma has been appointed the new national representative to India. We thank former representative Dileep Kumar for his long years of involvement and support towards SOLAS.

  • SOLAS Italy has become a strong national network in the SOLAS community and just recently launched its SOLAS Italy website.

  • Air-SeaLAB: Climate-air pollution interaction in coastal environment is a newly SOLAS endorsed research project funded by CNR. It is an Italia-Ireland bilateral project with the main objective of the joint Lab to study the interactions between air pollution and climate in the coastal environment, with particular focus on aerosol physico-chemical properties, aerosol-cloud interactions and near coastal boundary layer structure and dynamics.

See the SOLAS website for a complete list of all SOLAS endorsed projects.
